Shipping: generally speaking Maomao is not that interested in romance and any romance she would get involved in would be fairly unconventional but I’m always open to interesting dynamics when they present themselves! The other party would also have to be doing most of the pursuing because this is an initiative she’s unlikely to take. Maomao probably hasn’t done a ton of examining her own preferences and considers herself straight by default but the idea of romance with another woman is not foreign to her and I, the player, personally, love it
Jinmao shippers: call me but only if you’re willing to get weird with it

Romantic PDA/flirting: Flirting, go for it; Maomao will likely respond to flirting either by being mean or oblivious. Fighting/injury: PLEASE POISON MAOMAO. Like tell me first so we can work it out but there are very few circumstances under which I would not want Maomao to get poisoned.

Warnings: potentially gross medical stuff: Maomao does a lot of medical self-experimentation which usually results in a lot of puking and/or festering wounds on one arm. Maomao also speaks pretty frankly about courtesan life and sex, and related topics, including sexual violence and disease. If you’d prefer these things don’t come up in threads, please let me know in the opt-out threading comment below.
